Trust - A Belief System

Image
For the last many months, my learning on a spiritual level has been surrounding trust. Not just as a word or act, but a belief system. Regardless of what doctrine you hold an affinity to, pick it up, and choose a passage of well-known words in your life. Since I was raised in a Christian environment, the bible would be one I can find this relational to. Without reading and just remembering the parables, I grew up reading and hearing about – trust as a belief system becomes the common thread or message given. The choice of trust or not to trust, creating lights and darks throughout the pages. A book of lessons of trust displayed through many life experiences being told. Yet, when trust is a belief system, a new world of thinking starts to expand. Trust as a belief system changes bands of energy around each of us, which are created through our sense, and choice of belief. When the bands grow and intensify energy being recreated, all life as known begins to change as well. This same

In "who" do you trust?

Trust, a word which is loosely used and yet ultimate, to look back through religious doctrine in many forms, parables and requests made by God of many names has been in requesting “Trust”. On the spiritual level, Trust is seen and viewed as ultimate and yet is held in lesser than form in experiencing life.

Time of our life

Image
Throughout our lives, time is paced by events, sounds, or influences which move time along. Do we remember times, which cannot find life as being relational otherwise? During our days, we listen, watch and move with the flow outside of time itself, yet like the tic-toc of progression we live, breathe and move in accordance to “time.” In early civilizations, time was kept in sundials, movements between light and dark along with events to be interpreted as movement of life. In the photo above, my wind chime if heard on the day of the photo – would signify a movement of time as wind creating the melody of being. As a photo, the chime stands timeless. Capturing a nano-second in a state of being frozen without rescinding or progressing as relative to time itself.

Wounded Knee, Johnny Depp and Ghost Dancers

Image
I read an article today on how Johnny Depp is considering buying the land of Wounded Knee and returning the land to the Sioux people as caretakers. Wounded Knee was a pivotal part of American history. After our government started rounding up Native Americans and placing them on reservations, Wounded Knee became one such site. Sioux people would Ghost Dance in the hopes life could be returned to freedom of the land. Ghost dances became frequent at Wounded Knee and prompted the massacre by the Calvary of counts generally being in the range of 150 people of all ages, including Chief Sitting Bull. The massacre itself left this land as a spiritual ground of souls lost. We all know the story of our time of Wounded Knee and the standoff, which ultimately failed in recovering the land. My hopes for the land would be in returning the ground to nature, regardless of the caretaker and giving some sanctity for lives celebrated and lost throughout history. I myself am of many bloodlines inclu

Jacob and the Huron

Although many years have passed since I wrote down this story of Jacob and the Huron, for the last two days after not giving it much thought for a very long time - the story will not leave my thoughts. So I will share Jacob and the Huron again - possibly a reader is the one who needs to hear the story. Jacob and the Huron There once was a tale of two wives. The first wife was a lover of fine linens for her dwelling. The second wife was a lover of the arts. In the time of the tale, the husband of the two wives was an industrious landowner. His days were spent traveling across his land with a vision of change. The landowners name was Jacob. Jacob loved his two wives and understood the beauty of each. His first wife Helen reflected to him an outward beauty in his life that was shown through her unique ability to purchase and use the fine linens throughout the home. Bringing the color together, woven in a tapestry for the eyes. In doing so, anyone that visited his o
