Next time yiu look into the eyes of a server - remember this

My daughter posted this today on Face Book. Servers have walked many miles you have not seen and next time you look into the eyes of your server I hope you remember this piece in empathy not sympathy.Just one in many moments of a single mother who desperately loves and works to provide for her sons. Are they worth your time and money? You are worth theirs. This holiday season, look with the heart rather than the first impression you might have, could be your server today has more of a story than you could  have perceived. Today I served a woman and before I could even say hello she looked at me and said "You look tired, those are really dark circles under your eyes.". Seriously ! ?! Dear Miss Judgmental, You do not know me so allow me to introduce myself, I am the book you chose to judge by its cover. I am a single mother who has fought hard for every dark shade under my eyes. While you may find it upsetting, the family and friends that love me see the love I h

I AM THANKFUL

I AM THANKFUL for Faith, Trust , family and friends That terror and be compartmentalized and categorized, where love can not begin to be put in one category For my life just as it is and what has been given and received Each day the Sun rises and the Moon sets across the world in a sequence where each never fail to appear somewhere in the world 24/7 For creation which allows us all to grown and persevere , be graced and guided seen or unseen For the children of this world who have a vision of peace even when the elders in their life can not see tomorrow For the heart to smile even when it might be crying at the same time For the beauty and grace of nature which struggles to survive a world which finds it secondary at times in conserving For the beauty of the Dolphin and the unconditional love of our domestic animals who care regardless of the treatment many may endure And for each who find that inner faith which can not be defined completely except from the heart and soul to bring us

The Parable of the Fork - Author unknown

I first read this about 20 years ago in a email and it came back into my head today. Once read you will never totally forget as a parable is meant to be.   The Parable of the Fork There was a woman who had been diagnosed with a deadly illness and had been given 3 months to live. Her doctor told her to start making preparations to die so she contacted her pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what she wanted to be wearing. The woman also told her pastor that she wanted to be buried with her favorite bible.  Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the woman suddenly remembered something very important to her. There's one more thing. She said excitedly. What's that? came the pastor's reply. This is very important. The woman continued. I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand.

The table of terror and fear - remove your chair from the energy

Our bodies will sense and react to what is not conducive within the physical. For me, milk, ice cream and products of that nature will trigger a sneezing attack until finally the head, throat and sinuses are clear again. At times with a suffocating feeling until I am clear. Not always are the milk products the cause of this affect. If my mind itself is headed down a path of negative thinking, once again this trigger reaction takes hold until the mind is clear again with no food related involvement. Tonight as I was reading a post on Face Book regarding accepting refugees, my first thought was this being an unstable act by our government. The post was written in a pro-active sense by the Christian author to accept and also referring to entertaining strangers which I have always held a belief for rather in small or large ways. And as I spent time trying to clear my head  I also thought about how if I truly trusted and had faith in this universe to bring into focus a greater picture, w

The Great Swan - a tale of the Crossing worlds

The Great Swan copyright@lsmyers Today I am going to tell of a time when life was complicated, but thought was surreal. (laugh) Look into the eyes of eternity. The eyes that light the path of mystiques. Where are they? They are but the soul light on thought. Your thoughts are your lighted pathway. If your thoughts are dark, the light is even dimmer on how you perceive life. When your thoughts are of the grandiose, the path is lit without end. Time to turn on the lights! (laugh) Are you going to travel now to a world that will be of both, the highest thoughts, and have that which chooses to carry on without thought, for we are both! Come Along! Moniko spoke: “In my home in the Sun, there is such a world of thought. Thoughts that are acknowledged, and those thoughts, which are refused to be acknowledged. This is the world of the crossing thoughts. In the world of crossing thoughts, many beings exist. Being of this world becomes very short, but also much nee

When we cease to believe - Chapter Six Moniko and the Enchanted World

Chapter Six Moniko and the Enchanted World The Elder spoke to Moniko. “Come with me now to a place that many have heard of but are yet to understand. For on Earth such a place would be known as ‘cylinders of passage’ or ‘portals to dimensions.’ “There was a time on Earth when all that was desired was but a thought to be realized. This was a time when all took too flight. Maybe not as flight in your home in the Sun, but flight that was born of a desire, which truly would manifest in the reality that was sought. “This time of flight is still very much alive within the Earth, but also the passage to that time has been blocked by the feeling and belief that these things are not possible. I will tell you of the place in our world where this reality is still held in a mystical magical space. “At one point in my existence in the Sun I found myself also wondering about the mystical nature of the Sun and Earth. We were merged, but also living in separation. Why might this be, when truth is th

When reading speaks without words - the heart is listening

As I was writing Moniko, at times I would carry random chapters and hand them to others I came across. One night at a restaurant with a friend I handed one to a waiter. He left with the chapter to read on break and came back stating he had clocked out after reading . Not wanting too lose the feeling he now had in the moment. This was his chapter that night. Chapter Ten Fields of Clover Think of yourself standing in a f i eld of clover that stretches further then you can see. Take my hand,” said the Elder. As Moniko sat in a large fi e ld of clover in the Sun, his hands ran through the clover, feeling how it seemed to weave with his touch. In his home in the Sun, replenish i ng his energy from another substance was not necessary, but the choice to do so was a joy to Moniko. He grabbed the clover and brought a handful close to himself to smell the essence. As Moniko sat and h
