The Tube of Light

The Tube of Light Written in 2009 On July 7 th , 2009, I made a request to show me what I needed to see. At those times, I just clear my mind and wait for what might unfold. I saw myself walking up the steps of a church; inside the door was a wall of beautiful glass. I opened the door to the main sanctuary of the church, and saw a marble floor with steps. I immediately was swept to the front of the church, which was empty. Hanging on the front wall was a stone figure of Jesus, although from floor to ceiling a tube with different colors of lights, was split at the middle on each side and from one direction the lights were flowing clockwise through the tube, and the from the other side they flowed counter clockwise. The lights started moving faster and as they did, the center of the tube was now pure light. The faster the lights moved the more intense the center of light became. I walked up to the wall and turned around to see back to the wall of windows. When I did, I was suck

Front Row Seat

Front Row Seat In just hours, Prince William and Kate Middleton will say their vows. As the weeks have rolled by leading to this point, my thoughts have been with a friend of mine. Robin was known to send Christmas cards to the palace in the summer and would receive a card back during the season. She devoured everything connected to the Royal family. The shock of Diana’s death devastated her as if she had lost a friend, which she had lost a friend of the heart.  Robin was one who would tell you that everything you possibly wanted to know about in life, sat in the library and was self taught on many subjects of her interest. Outgoing and seemed to defy aging as she grew older, many would not see her as being a grandmother. A lover of people and what was right about this world. To attend a royal wedding is a dream come true, which she will in a few hours along with Princess Diana and many other Royals in absentia of this world.  Robin left this world far too soon, a victim of homicide

World at war over beliefs

World at war over beliefs http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/asiapcf/04/03/afghanistan.protests/index.html?hpt=T2 Today one of the headline stories on CNN.com tells how almost 100 people have either died or been injured over the act of Pastor Jones of Florida and his choice to burn the Quran. After blatantly holding this country hostage in trying to prevent this act from happening months ago, Pastor Jones, and his congregation followed through in the burning of the Quran, shielding their act as in alliance of God against the beliefs of others. Wars bursting through our news headlines across this planet, with one common link – the choice of belief and the oppression in being allowed to believe as people choose.  The choice of belief has long been a common link throughout the wars in this world since recorded times and events. Religion has been used and abused in the name of God in being a shield to protect acts of violence and aggression against humanity. In the name of God, people a

Some of those phrases that make you go …. Hmmm…

Some of those phrases that make you go …. Hmmm… Years ago, Jeff Foxworthy started the “You must be a redneck if?” jokes – largely about the ridiculous interpretation given to events in life.   Maybe from the spiritual side, we could just leave it as “You got to be kidding if you think that?” A commonly used phrase such as “you could wake up dead!” in relation to doing something which might make you cease to exist. “Wake up Dead?” -   Mortally or spiritually, you would never “wake up” dead. Somewhere along the lines of accepting, someone has found this to have credence. Reading a column today on another site – figures were given to the high percentage of the American population who talk to the “dead” and referred to as ridiculous in essence in referring to material from research. Hmmm… this American “population referred to, amounts to 1.2 % of the population of people connected to landlines who answered their phones, which takes the actual percentages down to under .10 of the popul
