Time of our life

Throughout our lives, time is paced by events, sounds, or influences which move time along. Do we remember times, which cannot find life as being relational otherwise? During our days, we listen, watch and move with the flow outside of time itself, yet like the tic-toc of progression we live, breathe and move in accordance to “time.” In early civilizations, time was kept in sundials, movements between light and dark along with events to be interpreted as movement of life. In the photo above, my wind chime if heard on the day of the photo – would signify a movement of time as wind creating the melody of being. As a photo, the chime stands timeless. Capturing a nano-second in a state of being frozen without rescinding or progressing as relative to time itself.

Myself, I have always been one who finds measurements of time as largely without comprehension in relation to movements in life. Looking at photos, knowing or calculating the time of a photo in relation to the movement of time since I still find myself captured in the timeless space of the photo. Where time stand stills in the reflection of movement in comparison to life itself in a state of mortality.

Helen Thomas, Washington journalist died this week at the age of 92. Seeing photos in a timeline sequence of the years spent in the Whitehouse pressroom, all I could think of was “just imagine the history she had seen, one stroke of the clock at a time!” Ten presidents and all the events of our country – being witnessed by one mortal soul in an onward progression few have known. Yet, what became relative was reflection through the eyes of time granted.

We take time for granted in feeling time will march on until we no longer partake of this onward movement. Many times with little concern in reflection, being the true essence of time spent. Tomorrow, unless something happens otherwise will being new events, concerns, hope, trust, and amazement in the illusion of time. Yesterday becomes relational only through the events, concerns, hope, trust, and amazement of time fulfilled. Can we compensate for what we feel we did not accomplish in hindsight of this time driven illusion? On a mortal level of basic understanding, no would be the answer. On a higher level of consciousness, we are well aware all events, concerns, hope, trust and amazement of all known time affects and reflects who we have been, who we are now and who we aspire to be, without the illusion of time.

When a large tree is cut and the rings exposed, the life exposed of the tree shows the all of existence of the tree is yet one existence of growing and expanding in cycles rather than linear movement. We are not different from the tree, all affects all. Amends made today will reflect on your yesterdays, today and tomorrows as one. Mortally, spiritually without end. Today is not too late to recreate yesterday or improve on your tomorrow, unconsciously you are already in tune to the process. Consciously this attunement is a choice granted or rejected. Do you remember and are you a member of the cycle within cycles. Cycles which can be exposed and yet not denied? The evidence has been seen in the inanimate with only a human choice to animate and recreate beyond the boundary of time.
