Learn to understand you first!
This seems to be the season of bringing an influx of books on “how to” bring you a better life from within and changing your world. Change your thoughts, reflect, creating the new you and so on. I am not saying this is not a worthy endeavor, though from reading excerpts from these books – what they lack is the information on getting to know your energy body first and transforming, aligning and using your own energy book as a root tool in bringing life into the focus you desire. You are energy in a physical casing, called a body. Absolutely, everything about you has an energy point in relationship to who you are, how you act and react to life and physical health or well being, or the physical problems in your life. Body, Mind and Spirit being either connected or disconnected influences all you are and life itself as you know it. This is your core ground of sustaining life. Yet, many know so little in “how to” work with the energy body. From simple to complex, understanding you is the premise for all else in your life. I will start doing what I can, in giving some simple exercises in working with the energy body and assisting you in understanding why.
Larger shares of the population now have heard of the seven main Chakras, though many still have limited understanding of the connection in your physical body. Starting from the soles of your feet to the crown of your head, each one interacts with another alternatively through the path. Blocked energy causes weight gain, disease, inability to express yourself or connect to your highest level of thoughts and live in the peace the books are telling you is possible. Experience is knowledge and rarely is experience found between the pages of a book. The information might inspire, though it will not be more than information without you connecting through your own experience and creating the knowledge on a personal level. To unblock your life, you have to unblock and align your energy body to be receptive of change and able to process the change in your physical body.
An exercise to being with is taking two ten-minute periods a day, once in the daytime and once at night, lying flat and breathing deep and slow from the diaphragm. Feeling your breathing pulling from your abdomen up through your lungs and exhaling slowly, before repeating again while staying focused on the process of inhaling and exhaling the air or chi The breathing session is not about meditating or clearing all thought processes from your mind. Quite the opposite, before starting choose an area of your life you desire the change to happen and during breathing focus on the change and visualize yourself with the change already in place. See it done, rather than focusing on the intent of the change needing to be done.
During your sessions, it is more than likely you will reach a space where your visions of you become clearer, which will only reinforce the intent you already hold for the change. At the same time, you are clearing and aligning your energy field, removing the negative thought processes for the positive in exchange and diffusing the energy in your fields, which is negative. As you are breathing and learning the process, place one hand on your lower abdomen so you can feel the intake and outtake of the air. With the lower area being your moon and the sun being your crown, by doing this twice a day during daylight and moonlight you are universally aligning your energy without separation in thought or alignment.
When the session is over, do not spend time and energy worrying about the intent you set in place, allow your energy body to work with you during the other spaces of your day. If your choice was for diet, eat healthy without focusing on the diet, only the new you already being aligned, for any choice stay positive and let your energy body surround your desire. Breathing before you go to sleep is a welcome asset to sleep and entering the dream space but should not be substituted for an evening session. As you accustom yourself to deep breathing sessions, other aspects of your life desiring change will become your positives in thought, energy, and well-being. Becoming the engineer and architect of your energy fields will bring your outer life into balance with a new awareness of you. This exercise is very simple and basic in moving your energy, though it is a start. Always open to comments and feedback.
