Gold recieved from a stranger, a messenger in disguise
Gold received from a stranger, a messenger in disguise.
The link to this story is about Mr. Williams, homeless man with a golden voice when has spread across the world like a needed wildfire of inspiration when stories line news sights of despair. We have all had times of encountering another who seemed through our own intuition and a feeling of just knowing, something about the person was beyond being a stranger.
Almost two years ago, riding in the car during the summer to a local mall/entertainment center a large bearded man was on the off ramp of the interstate seemingly very odd in relation to which I was feeling and the man himself. At those times, you receive a feeling from the pit of your stomach to turn around and approach. I was a passenger at the time and could not go back and follow on the instinct to do so. During the following Christmas season, I got off work one night close to midnight and pulled into the gas station across the street. The parking lot was still outside of one car, a little girl about five was sitting in the seat with her mother. Returning, back outside a few moments later, the little girl had approached the man and was handing him some change. At the time, I had only two dollars period to spend left in my own purse. Watching the little girl climb back into the car, I took what I had left and approached with bearded elderly man who was quite large, strong, and stout for his age sitting on a long duffle bag outside the station. Looking at him, I could see the eyes from the man the summer before on the off ramp of the interstate. On this night of bone chilling winter cold, he seemed un-phased by the cold just as he seemed un-phased by the heat the summer before. Those types of oddities I observe often are the linking factor between seeing what appears physical and what just maybe is only a well timed appearance of what is not physical at all times in our world. I handed him the money and said “Merry Christmas.” His only reply was “I am not here to take any money,” smiled and told me “Have a wonderful Christmas!”
From many occurrences over the year, I believe the best approach to the strangers that pull you near is treating the meeting as if you were seeing much more, be true in being prompted to engage with those whose oddities can not be explained and accept the encounter though short as being a visit intended in your life. We are brought together in synchronicity with many throughout the days of our lives, which if taking the moment and observe, recognize and interact our life path is only enhanced and expanded. In not dismissing those who we feel too busy for, or unlikely to assist we just might pass on a messenger who changes your world and your life for the better.
Blessings
