Defining a vision in life called Sky Blessings retreat

A dream of mine is a spiritual retreat I visioned as being called Sky Blessings with a farm house, barn, pond and a few cabins around the pond with each having a small dock. Horses from miniature to quarter horses on enough land to support the retreat. In a wooded setting stands a teepee fully designed from another time period. A few dogs, my favorite are the Pyrs, along with a couple more rescues.

Location is not important as I am to be at the place of retreat,rather than a need to build or modify the vision to present location. This vision would have a capability for access of the handicapped as well as any in need of finding their inner strength and optimal form of life in this world. All animals would be adaptive as therapy animals, fishing would provide a living force of meditation as only water and nature can provide.Within the retreat would be areas for reading, crafting and gathering. Holistic approach in all aspects of the retreat are present with the ability to draw close through inner desire rather than outer doctrine.

The retreat is not a place of being unplugged, instead a place of finding resources which lessen a need to plug into electronically,rather than plug into life beyond electronics by choice for a time.A space of teaching and yet being the student in gaining insight from another with no one being lesser of greater than another. Periods at the retreat would range from 1-3 weeks,which in return would grant the visitor a pass for future visits of 3 day pass when needed. My belief that a path to peace is in personal acceptance of self rather than outer tolerance.

The retreat would have no barriers on path of belief,color,gender or disability.A special room in the retreat would be a Christmas room,where the spirit of Christmas would not only be present one season of the year, but 365 for regeneration of joy and growth on Earth. Whether my retreat or the opportunity to operate this retreat would be my dream.

Today the city of Kansas City, KS is mourning the loss of detective Brad Lancaster, Hearing a call for assistance he was one of the first on the scene regarding a possible car jacking and in responding was shot and killed by a man who had received early parole, serving less than a year of a sentence and released. To hear this made me sick inside, another criminal paroled only to commit murder shortly after wards. A friend of mine in 2004 was left butchered in her flower garden by a man who she had put in prison for domestic violence who had been paroled on good behavior and was seen as not being a threat to society. The Parable of the Fork - Author unknown

I first read this about 20 years ago in a email and it came back into my head today. Once read you will never totally forget as a parable is meant to be.   The Parable of the Fork There was a woman who had been diagnosed with a deadly illness and had been given 3 months to live. Her doctor told her to start making preparations to die so she contacted her pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what she wanted to be wearing. The woman also told her pastor that she wanted to be buried with her favorite bible.  Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the woman suddenly remembered something very important to her. There's one more thing. She said excitedly. What's that? came the pastor's reply. This is very important. The woman continued. I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand.

Spiritual Windows – My perception   I have been writing for seven years on spirituality through my website http://www.myspiritualwindows.info and in blog form, without addressing my own interpretation of Spiritual Windows. Yet, I find more individuals then ever before searching for the answer to what a spiritual window might be.
