Blessed are the pure in heart

A boy of four years ago asked me "Am I pure of heart"? I answered him with "of course you are!". Over the years as this boy grew to a man, another handful of times he asked the same question and received the same answer. Today I read this, and tears fell knowing this wonderful young man has known beyond myself why he asked. Don't doubt what the young are well aware of in their hearts, they are here open without any veils to their truth. They bless sometimes in unusual ways to those who feel they hold the wisdom, which in reality was never forgotten in the young.

Today the city of Kansas City, KS is mourning the loss of detective Brad Lancaster, Hearing a call for assistance he was one of the first on the scene regarding a possible car jacking and in responding was shot and killed by a man who had received early parole, serving less than a year of a sentence and released. To hear this made me sick inside, another criminal paroled only to commit murder shortly after wards. A friend of mine in 2004 was left butchered in her flower garden by a man who she had put in prison for domestic violence who had been paroled on good behavior and was seen as not being a threat to society. Both paroled by the State of Kansas early. If records were looked at, these are probably not isolated incidents. Spiritual Windows – My perception   I have been writing for seven years on spirituality through my website http://www.myspiritualwindows.info and in blog form, without addressing my own interpretation of Spiritual Windows. Yet, I find more individuals then ever before searching for the answer to what a spiritual window might be. The Parable of the Fork - Author unknown

I first read this about 20 years ago in a email and it came back into my head today. Once read you will never totally forget as a parable is meant to be.   The Parable of the Fork There was a woman who had been diagnosed with a deadly illness and had been given 3 months to live. Her doctor told her to start making preparations to die so she contacted her pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what she wanted to be wearing. The woman also told her pastor that she wanted to be buried with her favorite bible.  Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the woman suddenly remembered something very important to her.
