Creating the indgredients for your life experience
This
morning looking through the fridge trying to decide what I wanted to
eat, what caught my eye was lettuce and tomatoes leftover from BLT
night, rotisserie chicken that I bought on a whim, no milk but plenty
of dressing. What was individual could be brought together with
breakfast being a salad. A situation we all see ourselves in each
day, looking at the individual but do we pull together all that is
available and given to use, in making a larger whole of ourselves.?
Most
take the pieces in working one profession, driving one path each day
and following a predetermined routine with little variance in how we
put the ingredients together to make more than seen in a single
glance. Having jobs, passions, needs to prioritize individually with
hopes each at a crossroads will come together to make a larger whole
of who we are. Everyone is whole, how we choose to expand the whole
is life being experienced as an artist who might sing as they paint,
they have yet to show the world singing is part of painting. The
laborer who might dance to the tune in their mind while they work,
has yet to dance as the labor in life. We pause in becoming the
combined ingredients of who we are.
My
life may seem crazy diverse to some, a operate a business I love
while making time to write and use my energy at times as an ongoing
tool or in the moment in observing this world to learn of my own
creation. The recession taught me too no longer risk everything on
one endeavor to be used only for what an egg can provide. To stretch
regardless of how another may perceive the stretch as being conducive
as the eggs in a basket, nicely arranged and viewable as a whole
object, rather I choose to see the egg basket as a base ingredient to
expand on and feed in a larger sense.
Life
is often seen as a painting, yet the painting is focused on as color,
objects or abstraction presented. A painting done well contributes
all elements being seen expanding thought and imagination as the
completed work will never be seen the same individually. Life
experience is one moment at a time, how we choose to view a moment
influences the next moment and so forth. If we only see routine, the
moments become existence rather than living. If the ingredients of
change are seen in the moment and we choose to follow the prompts of
change, then life is the experience. What did you choose to consume
today, a combination of what was available, or just the easy choices
available?
With
routine comes judgment in detouring from the routine, finding the
motions to be repetitious and dull. Although doing so will feed your
energy, enhancing the energy into new combinations of intake and
expression are likely to be lost in a lack of imagination. It is
safe, though nothing in life is meant to be truly safe – your focus
and intent on taking what many would call a fools road, can lead to
shores found and explored along the way. The fools’ card in Tarot
always represents chance, unknown and imagination left to the
recipient. Material security is carried in a bandana signifying all
that is needed will be found. Very good reason why the Celtic culture
used Tarot in identifying their history is all else was lost in
recording that time/space of impending change.
This
day is the empty canvas of the imagination, not a painting of the
past. Take the steps of trust and faith to repaint your world if
yesterday was less than your soul desired to repeat. Take the leap of
faith and recreate what nurtures you and feeds your imagination,
turning the card of the fool on a journey without regret. By doing
this the ingredients, which are brought together, will expand the old
into the new of your dreams, hopes and passions already a part of you
and waiting to be combined as a whole rather than how you see what is
available for consumption. Feast on the future as the top chef of the
heart. Therefore, it shall be
.
