God’s Greatest Gift’s
 (This little one would have just turned 21, she left this world at 6 due to a traffic accident)

The greatest gift in life has to be, the love of a child in a hectic sea of fast paced lives, technology, wars and disease.
They are a gift that gives from the heart, and does not set a price, or grow hard from our world’s strife.
Their love is as pure as God’s love could be, and no greater gift could be given to you or to me.
The innocence they show cast no shadows, on the beings that cross their life’s pathways.

There are times they become victims, of adults who need to show, they can not tolerate the love that they glow.
At times it can frighten those whose hearts have grown cold.
They see their light as a lethal toll, on hearts that are too dark to accept the love that they are.

Yet God put them here for the purpose, to keep a continual light on this earth to shine.
They are the greatest gift that life can behold, and with tender care they hold their light until they grow old.

But only with the helping hand of those who have held their light, may God’s plan be fulfilled and made right.

So remember next time you have your child to hold, that this is all God’s plan that needs your help to behold.
For they are God’s Greatest Gift here on earth, and the true miracle and reason for the merriment and mirth, and the greatest miracle since the lord and his birth..

Today the city of Kansas City, KS is mourning the loss of detective Brad Lancaster, Hearing a call for assistance he was one of the first on the scene regarding a possible car jacking and in responding was shot and killed by a man who had received early parole, serving less than a year of a sentence and released. To hear this made me sick inside, another criminal paroled only to commit murder shortly after wards. A friend of mine in 2004 was left butchered in her flower garden by a man who she had put in prison for domestic violence who had been paroled on good behavior and was seen as not being a threat to society. The Parable of the Fork - Author unknown

I first read this about 20 years ago in a email and it came back into my head today. Once read you will never totally forget as a parable is meant to be.   The Parable of the Fork There was a woman who had been diagnosed with a deadly illness and had been given 3 months to live. Her doctor told her to start making preparations to die so she contacted her pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what she wanted to be wearing. The woman also told her pastor that she wanted to be buried with her favorite bible.  Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the woman suddenly remembered something very important to her. There's one more thing. She said excitedly. What's that? came the pastor's reply. This is very important. The woman continued. I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand.

Spiritual Windows – My perception   I have been writing for seven years on spirituality through my website http://www.myspiritualwindows.info and in blog form, without addressing my own interpretation of Spiritual Windows.
