Sunday Morning – WWJD?



It is Sunday morning in my part of this earth and as millions at this time prepare to worship in the house of their faith, millions more are in faith as they sit. I asked a Hindu I know years ago about her faith within the country of her birth. She responded with her understanding of how even the poorest farmer in the field was as rich spiritually as a wealthy man, asking an atheist what it meant to be atheist the response was “No God babe. Just wonder and spirit”. 

When writing Moniko a reviewer responded the book sounded like ancient Chinese writing, whereas a Muslim friend responded with “you must be part Muslim.” Everyone having different interpretations in alignment to one knowing in the universe is just one. WWJD today if walking among our six billion on this Earth? Though his energy has been accepted in being born a Jew, millions have adopted him in segregated accepting thru creating doctrines and mandates of the church of faith, choosing to convert rather than accept in faith.

I grew up in the days of Vietnam, Six Day War and veterans of my life at that time with still raw memories of WW2 and Korea. Where do these nations stand now? Vietnam is said to be a beautiful place to visit, lush and green with the geography now returned to a more natural state from the time of conflict. Israel and adversaries have yet to really find peace many decades after the Six Day War. Korea seems to stand as two walls of division decades after this war ended. Now times indicate a new cold war has re-emerged with Russia. Where is the progress of humanity? Moreover, were the many masters including Jesus who walked among us a lesson in how politics and God have been unable to find peace? 

In each faith and even those who choose not to hold a singular faith – the beliefs that wonder and spirit is much larger than you and I exist beyond the conflicts/war of humanity and our world. Garth Brooks recorded a song in 1994 I believe titled “We Shall Be Free.” A song, which can inspire and pump the adrenaline for a world, which reaches beyond separation. In order to be free, our world needs to move beyond tolerance into accepting each for who they are, rather than who they can be changed to be. Human spirit is not about changing our world externally, it is about bringing out exactly who you are in your highest energy and joining this energy without constraints to mold into each other-rather to be each other in energy form regardless of physical form, which is storing this energy. 

To learn from each other as teachers rather than adversaries. To open the doors of places of worship around this world to each as the form they are without the doctrine/mandates of the church, which preclude the energy of faith. To show in the signage of houses of faith each are welcome regardless of belief. WWJD? His energy already showed this world a glimpse of what was needed to be one. He showed trust in wonder and spirit, knowing the one who spoke to him was speaking to all. We live in a mortal world for a purpose now, not to just exist and survive to leave in the hopes that all which is done were in favor after leaving. 

Open your doors, hearts, and faith to each who crosses your path. Coincidences are spirit working in your life. Your teacher is not only the person who leads you in worship on a Sunday morning, your teachers greet you every step of the way. Be compassion/understanding and open to the lessons, which come from near and far in life. WWJD – it is already done, you are a part of this Earth. Walk the walk of your heart and inner-faith, trust and believe in your feelings and truth and if any conversion is to be done – it is the conversion of 6 billion to 1 – as it is above, so shall it be below. WE are one of the universe of “wonder and spirit” in all forms. Being so does not make you an Atheist, Christian, Muslim, or Hindu – only a soul expressing itself, no labels needed.

The Parable of the Fork - Author unknown

I first read this about 20 years ago in a email and it came back into my head today. Once read you will never totally forget as a parable is meant to be.   The Parable of the Fork There was a woman who had been diagnosed with a deadly illness and had been given 3 months to live. Her doctor told her to start making preparations to die so she contacted her pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what she wanted to be wearing. The woman also told her pastor that she wanted to be buried with her favorite bible.  Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the woman suddenly remembered something very important to her. There's one more thing. She said excitedly. What's that? came the pastor's reply. This is very important. The woman continued. I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand.
