I am my statement

I am impulsive and spontaneous. I do not always do right and I do not always do wrong. I do what I do from the heart, and for that - no regrets!

I admire Warren Buffet, not for his wealth - but for his energy of inspiration which speaks of - Do not as I do, Do as I have yet to do.

I find joy in giving, even if the ways are very small or as large as can be imagined and beyond.

I do not take life for granted - I say thank you for each day before it is lived.

Much like the rings of a tree, my circles in life have many layers - at the heart of layers I find my family.

I look at life as a thought of the universe - being thought through to fruitation. With another life, another thought will create an imagination I have yet to experience.

I find the troubles of our world unsettling and many times they bring the tears, though not nearly in volume as those who are living the troubles not only in my observation.

Today the city of Kansas City, KS is mourning the loss of detective Brad Lancaster, Hearing a call for assistance he was one of the first on the scene regarding a possible car jacking and in responding was shot and killed by a man who had received early parole, serving less than a year of a sentence and released. To hear this made me sick inside, another criminal paroled only to commit murder shortly after wards. A friend of mine in 2004 was left butchered in her flower garden by a man who she had put in prison for domestic violence who had been paroled on good behavior and was seen as not being a threat to society. Both paroled by the State of Kansas early. If records were looked at, these are probably not isolated incidents. The Parable of the Fork - Author unknown

I first read this about 20 years ago in a email and it came back into my head today. Once read you will never totally forget as a parable is meant to be.   The Parable of the Fork There was a woman who had been diagnosed with a deadly illness and had been given 3 months to live. Her doctor told her to start making preparations to die so she contacted her pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what she wanted to be wearing. The woman also told her pastor that she wanted to be buried with her favorite bible.  Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the woman suddenly remembered something very important to her. There's one more thing. She said excitedly. What's that? came the pastor's reply. This is very important. The woman continued. I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand.

Spiritual Windows – My perception   I have been writing for seven years on spirituality through my website http://www.myspiritualwindows.info and in blog form, without addressing my own interpretation of Spiritual Windows. Yet, I find more individuals then ever before searching for the answer to what a spiritual window might be.
