Happy Birthday John Austin!

Today would have been the birthday of John Austin, webmaster for James Redfield of the Celestine Prophecies. I crossed paths with John in 2004, shortly before his untimely death at Thanksgiving time that year. A wonderful man who lived in an energy of truth and wonder. I do not think John worried about ego or let it govern who he was, just a great guy who left an imprint on you when paths crossed. Happy Birthday John Austin from this earthly world to the infinite of your existence! Just as in the picture above, when they say above as it is below - hope a day of fishing was enjoyed now as then!

By choice, I do not spend a lot of my time reading the volumes of spiritual books available. When I have over time, and a book took me so far inside the reading became visual from beginning to end - the book became a journey of truth and rewards. Celestine Prophecies are of the few which have taken me into that space of connection. From front to back, I very well could have been sitting in a seat at AMC watching as the pages turned and relating to the experience. When the eyes of the soul show the experience of pages, the imagery of the heart is not forgotten.

So to John, James along with the endeavors they held dear in heart and soul, may your connections forever keep a circle which can not be broken.

Today the city of Kansas City, KS is mourning the loss of detective Brad Lancaster, Hearing a call for assistance he was one of the first on the scene regarding a possible car jacking and in responding was shot and killed by a man who had received early parole, serving less than a year of a sentence and released. To hear this made me sick inside, another criminal paroled only to commit murder shortly after wards. A friend of mine in 2004 was left butchered in her flower garden by a man who she had put in prison for domestic violence who had been paroled on good behavior and was seen as not being a threat to society. The Parable of the Fork - Author unknown

I first read this about 20 years ago in a email and it came back into my head today. Once read you will never totally forget as a parable is meant to be.   The Parable of the Fork There was a woman who had been diagnosed with a deadly illness and had been given 3 months to live. Her doctor told her to start making preparations to die so she contacted her pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what she wanted to be wearing. The woman also told her pastor that she wanted to be buried with her favorite bible.  Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the woman suddenly remembered something very important to her. There's one more thing. She said excitedly. What's that? came the pastor's reply. This is very important. The woman continued. I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand.

Spiritual Windows – My perception   I have been writing for seven years on spirituality through my website http://www.myspiritualwindows.info and in blog form, without addressing my own interpretation of Spiritual Windows.
