Burning Bush

Watching the documentary of Christiane Amanpour, a segment spoke of the burning bush which is said to be the same Moses seen on fire as God spoke to him "the bush which burned but was not consumed". Today the bush is surrounded by stone at the Monastery in keeping visitors from taking fragments of the bush.

We all hold the burning bush inside of our physical being, cooled from the fires - yet ready to ignite and cleanse. Spirit fire of our spiritual existence in a physical world. Embodying and yet holding a link being spiritual first in a mortal existence of our choice.

Moses perception of being spoken to, rather than being the bush; interpreted the messages as being from outside of him or in God form symbolic of a burning bush. Ark of the Covenant physicality being seen as a mystery of location opposed to the embodiment which was said of being given.

Having been through a burning bush being ignited from within, a cool flow it was not. A fire from within I was sure was death present only the fire did not consume the physical, only to hear a voice which told me I would be okay. When we stand in the path of least resistance and resolve to become part of the flow without expectation, the fire lives as a guide rather than a oddity of our life.

Working with healing over the years, I look first to the physical signs in relation to spiritual resistance in physical form. If a person has an ailment in which they can not sit - what is it in their life preventing them in this position. If a blockage of disease, blood flow of chi has been created, what in their spiritual self has residue's or created blockage, disease or the flow of chi? When the answers create an awareness in this person, resistance is released and change is released in a new flow. Seeing everything as absolute energy also releases a need or expectation, or change being from outside the spiritual self embracing the physical being in a new creation.

Our burning bush from within, when ignited and embraced without fear or expectation is a gift, as the bush was to Moses. Interpretation is always of the Scribe, words given from the spiritual self to the physical for translation. Looking back now, what would Moses perception be - or was it necessary, then or now?
