Two years ago, on my oldest grandsons birthday he chose to use the bungee jumping at the mall to overcome a fear of heights. On this winter day, the pavement appeared to be dry and to save time - I chose to walk in between two parked vehicles. In a split second as I entered the space between the vehicles, I could see myself standing at my own feet watching myself fall on black ice and instinctively knowing to brace my head and protect it from impact. In the next moment, I then feel on black ice I had not seen and following the visual I just received, I braced my head and protected myself from impact.
