To Not Confuse Tolerance with Peace

Tolerance is often confused as peace. Wars are ended in tolerance, treaties drafted in tolerance, and religious beliefs found as being acceptable in tolerance. Tolerance is often mistakenly accepted as being at peace with choices, which are made in life. Although tolerance and peace may find parallel lines of comfort in our world, they are not interchangeable for one another in truth. Tolerance is too tolerated in an expressive manner in life – peace is felt from the heart and expressed in the choices of life.

  • Are you tolerant of those who you have invited to be a part of your life – or are you at peace?

  • Are you tolerant of the beliefs of others – or are you at peace with the beliefs of others in our world?

  • Are you tolerant of the actions of others – or are you at peace with the actions chosen of others?

  • Do you feel a peace in knowing you are being tolerated?

  • Is it better to accept tolerance in hopes of peace – rather then being true in knowing peace triumphs all tolerance?

  • Are you tolerant of those who show false intention in their actions towards you – or are you at peace with false intentions?

  • Do you see tolerance as a gateway of hope – or peace as hope already fulfilled?

  • Does tolerance survive tribulations in life – or does peace hold a space to survive tribulations in life?

  • Does tolerance speak of your mortality – or does peace speak of who you are spiritually?

  • Does tolerance mutate enemies to frienemies – or does peace mutate enemies to being at peace of the soul choices?

  • Do you believe your God or choice of belief to be content in the tolerance of you – or a peace with the whole of you?

Each of us; families, governments and choices made continually throughout the days of our lives yield to the finding of peace or tolerance as the outcome. Peace is unspoken through feeling the choices you have made in life – tolerance is the spoken of how you accept your choices in life. Love can prevail in tolerance – peace is the love minus the conditions of tolerance. Who do we really choose to be?
