-Tales from the grocery line-
“Put back the hot dogs please”

An interesting place in receiving a baseline view of America is the grocery line. Might seem like an odd statement, although the common denominator regardless of profession or standing in this world, is the need of food for survival. With that said, I thought I would add some of my own experiences in the grocery line. These are solely my own observations and thoughts afterwards.

Two men were standing in the grocery line, the first with a number of items selectively being put on the belt for the cashier with periodic checks on the total, all food substance in nature. The second man had far less – though he was buying higher end items from the electronics dept in the supercenter. The first man had intentionally put his protein items at the end of the belt, which included hot dogs for meat. As he came towards the end of his items and closely watching the total, the hot dogs were requested to be taken off the total. The second man, then offered to pay for the hot dogs for the first man, rather than seeing him leave them behind. The first man declined the offer, and left with his groceries. The second man then proceeded to check out his items. The total for the two orders was nearly the same, with the second man commenting the first had probably bought enough groceries for a few days, while he only had a few items in the bottom of his sack.

In the course of conversations preceding the departure of both men, the first man had mentioned he was a minister who had just returned from a trip he needed to make 200 miles away and after buying gas for the trip and completing, his pocket only had a certain amount left for the grocery. He walked away with just over a dollar in change in his pocket. The second man, paid with a credit card, postponing any calculation of money left in his wallet.

Observing the two and what had transpired for me was seeing a reality of two and yet an interaction left in human compassion and thought at the same time. We could speculate the minister, having more money or credit cards at home and possibly deciding to stop at the grocery rather than drive home and return, which would create a different reality than presented. We could speculate the second man as either being financially abundant without a need to count objects of his purchase, only focusing on obtaining, which would create a different reality than presented. In this moment, only one reality was being displayed, with the canvas clearly showing the outcome.
The man with more resources available attempted to share and provide the need of the first and was met with rejection. The second man shared in the reality of the total of two being close yet wide in what is provided. Both fulfilling a need and desire, vastly apart in nature and both completing acts of selflessness on the part of others when they felt a need, the minister in taking what he had for money and splitting it between attending to the need of another before providing for himself – the second seeing a need for another and attempting to fill that need without being requested to do so.

Some people, might think of the minister as being absent in wealth and the other man being without a need of comprehending his own wealth now. I saw neither, only energy being exchanged and remembered as deeds completed. We can look at this world as being chaotic and out of control or we can look at each other and see energy of connecting to the needs of one another without being controlled. We are in the midst of one of the strongest energy shifts this planet has known or has history of. Negativity is being heaved from individuals in acts sometimes seen as beyond resolution or we can have faith that all that will remain after releasing the negative is a positive mirror in which acts will be kinder to others.

The first man who took all he had to help another and still found provision for himself will be returned with 10 fold of acts of faith and provision without doubt. The second man, for every gesture of trying to fill the need of another will be returned 10 fold in his continued desires for fulfilling his own needs. This is the compass of polarity of our world, with equal pull and cycles or return. What you give in good faith will be returned 10 fold in the faith given. Trust lies at the center of the compass in equalizing the polarity. What was your last act of faith given? Will the return be 10 fold in negative or positive response? You are the creator.
