Preparation is Life


A toddler in Indonesia, Anandhita many times becomes my centering point again when it seems I have lost focus. As a rule when I receive a request for help from another, it comes without any background information or do I request updates in the future. I was privileged a few years ago to hear from the parents of Anandhita for assistance and in her future was given an update. 

All we do in life is our preparation in a vision whether aware or unaware, sometimes even seeming to be obsolete to our own cause or purpose, the preparation moves forward. Life is a continual preparation in receiving our opportunity of success for our greatest desires. I listened as Joel Osteen spoke not too long ago with the statement “God never finishes on a negative,” when life seems to drop – it can only improve because the finishing act is yet to come. 

I myself, choose to be an observer largely rather than a player. Ready for action to the highest degree and yet respectful of the learning advantage of others at the same time in non-interference. Working with spirit is a constant movement, which never ceases, only waits for you to sense the awareness through you as the channel, rather than preparing a follower without understanding. Traveling a mountain range of existence with highs, lows, and plateaus in a forward pursuit. Something you do today – might manifest tomorrow into something greater or years in the future when the timing of transition is as precise as split a hair on your head. In that moment, all past will seem to cease to exist – in harmony. With each time, a pause seems misunderstood becoming no more than a heartbeat in remembrance – finding your center again without the hesitancy of time. 

We each have an Anandhita in our life, which reminds us of strength and joy in life. What is the name you use to identify yours? Move forward, the name will come.

Today the city of Kansas City, KS is mourning the loss of detective Brad Lancaster, Hearing a call for assistance he was one of the first on the scene regarding a possible car jacking and in responding was shot and killed by a man who had received early parole, serving less than a year of a sentence and released. The Parable of the Fork - Author unknown

I first read this about 20 years ago in a email and it came back into my head today. Once read you will never totally forget as a parable is meant to be.   The Parable of the Fork There was a woman who had been diagnosed with a deadly illness and had been given 3 months to live. Her doctor told her to start making preparations to die so she contacted her pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what she wanted to be wearing. The woman also told her pastor that she wanted to be buried with her favorite bible.  Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the woman suddenly remembered something very important to her. There's one more thing. She said excitedly. What's that? came the pastor's reply. This is very important. The woman continued. I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand.
