Let the healing begin

In some form, in almost every path of belief and religion a candle is symbolic in form. Heat is cleansing, a beginning, and end, infinite in purifying and healing. In nature, the fire cleanses the ground and new growth finds its way through the darkness. In sickness, heat of a fever is the body signaling all resources to promote healing. A lit candle is also used as a focus point of prayers. 

Japan has endured catastrophic devastation coupled with nuclear energy dispensing radiation. Workers, remain knowing very possibly it could be a death sentence, in trying to save millions of others in personal sacrifice now, for their country and people.

Today, light a candle and while watching the flame focus on sending the energy to all the people of Japan. Visualize the flame of the candle and heat generated clearing the radiation of the air. Visualize the flame absorbing all unwanted energy from the reactors. Visualize the flame and warmth removing all disease and sickness from the people of this country. Visualize the alpha process of the candle being the beginning and the end as the beginning of healing and the end of disease. As you watch the flame of your candle, visualize the connecting of energy between your candle and another doing this with the same intent across our world. Focus on the connection of healing with a simple prayer – Japan is now healed. Share the wave of energy from where you are and to those you know. Japan is waiting, how many candles of healing we can bring together. Miracles are impossibilities made possible. Light a miracle flame for others today.

Today the city of Kansas City, KS is mourning the loss of detective Brad Lancaster, Hearing a call for assistance he was one of the first on the scene regarding a possible car jacking and in responding was shot and killed by a man who had received early parole, serving less than a year of a sentence and released. To hear this made me sick inside, another criminal paroled only to commit murder shortly after wards. A friend of mine in 2004 was left butchered in her flower garden by a man who she had put in prison for domestic violence who had been paroled on good behavior and was seen as not being a threat to society. The Parable of the Fork - Author unknown

I first read this about 20 years ago in a email and it came back into my head today. Once read you will never totally forget as a parable is meant to be.   The Parable of the Fork There was a woman who had been diagnosed with a deadly illness and had been given 3 months to live. Her doctor told her to start making preparations to die so she contacted her pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what she wanted to be wearing. The woman also told her pastor that she wanted to be buried with her favorite bible.  Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the woman suddenly remembered something very important to her. There's one more thing. She said excitedly. What's that? came the pastor's reply. This is very important. The woman continued. I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand.
