From Greek epi to + phaino appear


Epiphany, to say or hear this word – would the meaning be the same, or could it be for any two people. Used in reference of a celebration of the Magi, more commonly used as a word to celebrate the connection in mortality of soul to spirit in some form of manifestation that touches without hesitation and possibly forever alters a perception or the means of a message given via spirit, is closer to my interpretation of the epiphany. A connection many times dispelled in the moment and reserved for what might be felt as a larger or more appropriate time to honor a connection, often leaves a person to wait in life – for the larger or bigger moment of realization. Do not lose the moments of in life of realizations in personal epiphanies for a later date. 

·         An epiphany can be a question flowing through your head to be answered and have an unknown song play on the radio, which answers the question, not huge as magi of old, though connection to your spirit in a way only the moment could have expressed creating a soul touch. 

·         The cry - which might overwhelm you, born out of an occasion which might even confound you as to why, creating a soul touch

·         Knowing, in a way created outside of mortal knowledge or study, creating a soul touch. 

·         Energy movement, undeniably without any provocation or intended running through your body as a confirmation and alignment unfelt before, creating a soul touch. 

These are just a few connections I make too the meaning of epiphany aside of spiritual manifestation, to appear in your life without hesitation or expectation in a moment of divine timing. Although, not always large, treated as being the greatness of the moment. Moments of celebration from within, to you, and for you. Noted everyday in millions of lives across this planet, either individually or in masses of confirmation and understanding. Take a few moments at some point in your life and examine the epiphanies of your life. Those are the moments you are one on one with the spirit of who you are. Your first was the moment of your birth, recall, and review the moments since without the hesitation of waiting for the larger to be the next. You are spirit first, are you connected? Allow the flow to be one.

The Parable of the Fork - Author unknown

I first read this about 20 years ago in a email and it came back into my head today. Once read you will never totally forget as a parable is meant to be.   The Parable of the Fork There was a woman who had been diagnosed with a deadly illness and had been given 3 months to live. Her doctor told her to start making preparations to die so she contacted her pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what she wanted to be wearing. The woman also told her pastor that she wanted to be buried with her favorite bible.  Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the woman suddenly remembered something very important to her. Safety should be considered first when granting parole

Today the city of Kansas City, KS is mourning the loss of detective Brad Lancaster, Hearing a call for assistance he was one of the first on the scene regarding a possible car jacking and in responding was shot and killed by a man who had received early parole, serving less than a year of a sentence and released. To hear this made me sick inside, another criminal paroled only to commit murder shortly after wards. A friend of mine in 2004 was left butchered in her flower garden by a man who she had put in prison for domestic violence who had been paroled on good behavior and was seen as not being a threat to society. Both paroled by the State of Kansas early. If records were looked at, these are probably not isolated incidents. Robin left children and grandchildren in this world, Detective Lancaster left a family, and two small children as well. Anyone who has known somebody who has been murdered does not forget.
