Oprah’s Ah Hah moment – a sister

Today the world waited for Oprah to tell of her reveal in life, a half-sister she did not know about and carried the name of another sister buried from a drug overdose in 2003. The story, can be read from the link above or any news source today, though the real reveal of her own soul showed deepest in the ending minutes of the show. She has always talked of living big, doing big and at times being big and today she talked of her vulnerability and broken trust she has endured from her status created. Betrayed, used, abused, and broken at times by those she put her most faith in, for an exchange of tying to the celebrity side of her. Listening and watching the show a verse came to mind, which seemed to sum the whole of the love she revealed;

1 Corinthians 13:4–8a
Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails

Oprah, today did a meet and greet with love that exemplified the verse through a sister gained and a sister lost. She stated how the reveal of her new sister brought her again to see the sister she had on her best days without the drugs. Today could not have been bought, created through marketing or enhanced any lives not destined to be so. Ironically, after 25 years on TV, granted a ray of closure in her own life while allowing the viewers to see only Oprah exposed to her heart and soul. I personally believe in divine timing in all parts of our life, the ability to sync up with the universe at the least expected moments, bringing to ourselves the inner most heartfelt desires given density.

Comment pages on oprah.com ,filled today with the stories of others who shared the same experiences in finding siblings in life. At least 98 % were positive with a feeling of knowing when meeting regardless of the circumstances or stories behind the stories. Once removed from each other, the strand still connected and welcomed. I only wish her well along with all others across this world who have shared their own reveal without hesitation , allowing each other to walk beyond the story to a new reality created from lineage of who they are.
