My Spiritual Windows



As of late, I have been spending the free time I have organizing ten years of writing for my website and blogs and compiling a book . Before starting this project, I wasn’t even truly aware of the volumes of files involved, hundreds to decipher and make decisions on to cut what very well could have been 600 pages of writing in half without losing the intent of bringing to paperback the content of each originally created in context.

The reasoning for undertaking this project was to assist my oldest grandson by creating and dedicating a book to an incredible young man who since he was very small, has created goals, undertook the goals and succeeded through his own patience, focus and belief in himself. Now he has the opportunity to travel t to Europe in 2011 as a student ambassador and with the profits of this endeavor dedicated to him and this goal and cause in his life.

If you enjoy the windows or the blogs, stay tuned for the paperback of writings derived from the cumulative of My Spiritual Windows in all form in support of this cause around the first of the year. Hopefully I can keep the page count hovering around 300 and the price minimal as possible in accepting and allowing this universe to bless the desire. Thank you to all readers as the windows will keep evolving through my journey with the hopes of blessing your journey along the way.

Today the city of Kansas City, KS is mourning the loss of detective Brad Lancaster, Hearing a call for assistance he was one of the first on the scene regarding a possible car jacking and in responding was shot and killed by a man who had received early parole, serving less than a year of a sentence and released. To hear this made me sick inside, another criminal paroled only to commit murder shortly after wards. A friend of mine in 2004 was left butchered in her flower garden by a man who she had put in prison for domestic violence who had been paroled on good behavior and was seen as not being a threat to society. The Parable of the Fork - Author unknown

I first read this about 20 years ago in a email and it came back into my head today. Once read you will never totally forget as a parable is meant to be.   The Parable of the Fork There was a woman who had been diagnosed with a deadly illness and had been given 3 months to live. Her doctor told her to start making preparations to die so she contacted her pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what she wanted to be wearing. The woman also told her pastor that she wanted to be buried with her favorite bible.  Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the woman suddenly remembered something very important to her. There's one more thing. She said excitedly. What's that? came the pastor's reply. This is very important. The woman continued. I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand.

Spiritual Windows – My perception   I have been writing for seven years on spirituality through my website http://www.myspiritualwindows.info and in blog form, without addressing my own interpretation of Spiritual Windows. Yet, I find more individuals then ever before searching for the answer to what a spiritual window might be. Within this article, for the first time publicly I will answer that question from my own interpretation I received many years ago.
