Using discernment in booking a reading?



Reading a column on a site I frequent, a psychic/medium/intuitive was interviewed for a new book she wrote on a 9 step plan to connect to your life purpose. I am not going to mention her name though after trying to find validation for her credentials outside of media flair from high profile friends I did not find credentials. I am not writing to debunk this person, what I would like to do is give some insight on what to expect and when to discontinue when engaging the services of a psychic/medium/intuitive.


1. Pay expected is aligned to your own need to substantiate through dollars spent. Spirit does not recognize the 500.00 per hour as being greater than reasonable fees.


2. IF a reader prompts you for the questions to be answered, take note and doubt. Spirit is there to answer and validate what is needed rather than answers we might not really be needing or ready for. The deeper questions of maybe your sub-conscious are already known.


3. A medical intuitive is more than just a Reiki master with the ability to sight within the body and the ability to have information responded as needed beyond filling the body with energy.


4. A medium will be aware of who they are receiving information from in regards to your guidance rather than their own, question for the sources to be identified to you and how they relate to your request.


5. Question before hand the process used in the reading by the medium, how is energy cleared and received prior to the reading. I have witnessed readers with more dirty energy around them in neglect for being aware or clearing than a city dump in who is filtering back the information. Not, every entity beyond you is feeling blessed and more than happy to distress your life rather than enhance your life.


6. Ask for validation and testimonials before booking a reading. A medium of their own worth would have no objection to sharing past validation of their work.


7. USE your intuition to discern the undertaking, what are you looking for and why?


8. Be truthful with the reader as your desire for the reader to be truthful with you. Feeding false information to trip a reader is no more than an expectation of false replies to fulfill your need for unsubstantiated results. Like attracts like, you will receive your expectation.


a. A medium whether for information, energy work, healing or any variable should not have to rely on your input to connect to and through your higher energy fields


You are as unique as your DNA spiritually and any 3, 4, 6, or 9 step plan which works for one will not necessarily work for you. Your plan might be 1 step or 20 but it is your plan of identifying, your choice of destiny in life. You have a core plan as part of your incarnation, a purpose. Purpose can be achieved through your creation of reaching your chosen destiny which is part of free will incorporating all parts of your passions and desires in doing so. A reader possibly can tell you what the core is, the variables in reaching the destination change as quickly as the next thought. Your next thought also changes all previous circumstances in your life and how they relate. Connecting is not about hearing a reader, rather about you and working with your own energy system, the more you raise your energy and learn to work with the you or “we” already available the gratefulness of doing so will expand who you are ten fold far and beyond money spent with a reader.

The Parable of the Fork - Author unknown

I first read this about 20 years ago in a email and it came back into my head today. Once read you will never totally forget as a parable is meant to be.   The Parable of the Fork There was a woman who had been diagnosed with a deadly illness and had been given 3 months to live. Her doctor told her to start making preparations to die so she contacted her pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what she wanted to be wearing. The woman also told her pastor that she wanted to be buried with her favorite bible.  Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the woman suddenly remembered something very important to her. There's one more thing. She said excitedly. What's that? came the pastor's reply. This is very important. The woman continued. I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand.
