What is loose is exposed!

 

Working in a job where you come in contact with individuals from all walks of life I hear many stories of their life whether it is something of myself that draws this energy to express I am not sure though they have my full attention for the time they desire to conclude what is felt and expressed. Last night was one such time when a woman with young teenage twin daughters told of her life over the last few years.

Within her first line of family which I perceive as being immediate family, parents, cousins and such, she has experienced the death of a spouse over a long illness, 5 suicide attempts, death of grand-parents and attempted murder suicide. However grim this sounds she had found a top level of happiness and understanding through her connection with a God she found and church. What caught my attention about her was how she instructed her daughters on checking whether a new swim suit would be appropriate by determining the loose fitting when tried on and telling them what is loose is exposed. A tad of wisdom for the girls and a fitting way to look at life in the process in confirming and being aware in life what we do choose to leave exposed or the fitting we expect of ourselves in creating the days of our life.

Her focus in life is to be a filter of beliefs to her daughters allowing her choice of God and church to provide the input and understanding in raising the girls alone. In a process of taking into herself and then allowing what is received to be released in her own form of assistance. This process itself transcends all paths of religion and spirituality. With religion the filter of the leader of a church is seen as the deliver of messaging whereas in spirituality a belief is stronger that as a product of God we choose to be the receiver less doctrine and appointed filter in this world. All finding a point of intersection on taking in and then releasing again through our own choice of existence and practice

Not long ago I asked another individual on a site I frequent who declared herself an atheist what her belief was as an atheist. Her answer was "just wonder and spirit" and not seeing God as a single entity. It is not that she does not believe as some would think of the atheist, she just sees the wonder in everything rather than identifying a single energy as being her all. I thought she had a wonderful way of expressing who she felt in connection to the universe. Seeing spirit in all parts of her life rather than one focus and altered the perception I had held of the atheist and their beliefs. Another label yet still a filter which intakes than releases into the world a path of understanding in how they walk a path of belief.

All points of belief hold a temple which is sacred, whether that might be in the form of a church, synagogue, the universe at large, mosque, great spirit or self, all hold belief expressed willing to take into the heart and release into the world whether voice, energy, a smile or willing to give attention to another they are all expressing a spirit from within unnecessary of labels to ratify or solidify her they are. I was taught a long time ago, people can accept you, reject you, though do not absorb what is not yours to hold unto. When you choose to absorb another and quiet the heart voice you are leaving loose areas left to exposure and allowing yourself an alteration from who you are to be a part of another. Focusing your intent on what you choose to be seen as an expression of is your spirit shining through the dark moments of your life and bringing a lighter energy into this world in the process, creating through you and the source of your belief a filter unleashed in your truth plus understanding and compassion for others.

Life is a process of sowing your seeds each day and allowing them a natural growth of how they intake and grow in living life. My oldest grandson a few days ago in answer to the question of the meaning of life responded with the meaning of life. A meaningful life being expressed as lived by choice which was given in free will from the source of all beliefs. When you take away all labels of separation from one to another you find yourself in all people without discrimination or judgment, they just are as you are – alive and living their meaning of life one breath at a time, becoming more aware of those loose exposed areas in thinking, judgment and how who they are is exposed in life words unsaid. How have you exposed yourself today, chose to be the filter and expressed yourself as you met another reflection of all on your path?

The Parable of the Fork - Author unknown

I first read this about 20 years ago in a email and it came back into my head today. Once read you will never totally forget as a parable is meant to be.   The Parable of the Fork There was a woman who had been diagnosed with a deadly illness and had been given 3 months to live. Her doctor told her to start making preparations to die so she contacted her pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what she wanted to be wearing. The woman also told her pastor that she wanted to be buried with her favorite bible.  Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the woman suddenly remembered something very important to her. There's one more thing. She said excitedly. What's that? came the pastor's reply. This is very important. The woman continued. I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand.
