Fear is the unknown

 Fear is synonymous with unknown. At times we put a line in the sand at our feet avoiding to cross the line into the unknown.

 

Anytime I have crossed the line, I have been grateful for the crossing. Spiritually lines are drawn repeatedly. Easier to remain in what is comfortable or repeating and living in the past than crossing the line of unknown for the what if’s than expanding into the known at a different understanding. Staying at a pause or ears and eyes open only to others who seemingly crossed the line.

 

Though did they really or rephrase the past? Time to straighten your crown and do as asked and take the leap of coming to your source as the child. Fearless and open without hesitation to grow in your own path rather than a repeated path of another. The unknown new is crossing the line. Not mistaken for fear. Take the worse in complete faith of the child. Knowing what is behind, find the innocence to overcome the crossing. 

 

In doing so possibly new fears and unknowns await though you are a conquer of all fear/unknowns. Take the leap as your child self which is all which was asked of you.

Today the city of Kansas City, KS is mourning the loss of detective Brad Lancaster, Hearing a call for assistance he was one of the first on the scene regarding a possible car jacking and in responding was shot and killed by a man who had received early parole, serving less than a year of a sentence and released. To hear this made me sick inside, another criminal paroled only to commit murder shortly after wards. A friend of mine in 2004 was left butchered in her flower garden by a man who she had put in prison for domestic violence who had been paroled on good behavior and was seen as not being a threat to society. The Parable of the Fork - Author unknown

I first read this about 20 years ago in a email and it came back into my head today. Once read you will never totally forget as a parable is meant to be.   The Parable of the Fork There was a woman who had been diagnosed with a deadly illness and had been given 3 months to live. Her doctor told her to start making preparations to die so she contacted her pastor and had him come to her house to discuss certain aspects of her final wishes. She told him which songs she wanted sung at the service, what scriptures she would like read, and what she wanted to be wearing. The woman also told her pastor that she wanted to be buried with her favorite bible.  Everything was in order and the pastor was preparing to leave when the woman suddenly remembered something very important to her. There's one more thing. She said excitedly. What's that? came the pastor's reply. This is very important. The woman continued. I want to be buried with a fork in my right hand.
